There’s nothing like celebrating Passover at Ramah Darom! Experience the beauty of our breathtaking 185-acre campus in the North Georgia mountains. Enjoy fresh, gourmet, kosher for Passover meals and snacks prepared by our team of expert chefs. Seize the unique opportunity to learn and explore Jewish life, culture, texts, and history with a diverse mix of distinguished scholars, leaders, thinkers, educators, and artists. Hike to our on-campus waterfall, enjoy a boat ride on our lake, take an art class, climb our alpine tower, play a game of tennis, basketball, or volleyball, or just relax in a rocking chair and enjoy the fresh mountain air! And for the kids, we offer a full camp experience led by amazing counselors.

Registration Details

Registrations are offered as either a Full Stay (10 nights) or a Half Stay (5 nights) based on the dates below. Guests are welcome to come and go on the days that serve them best, but we are unable to prorate registration fees for any unused dates.

Passover at Ramah Darom is an all-inclusive experience.
Rates include accommodations, kosher for Passover meals, snacks, and beverages, as well as on-campus activities, lectures, classes, and programs. Additional fees apply for transportation to and from the Atlanta airport, as well as for optional off-campus excursions.

Accommodations: There are 4 hotel buildings, 4 deluxe private cottages, and multiple modern and spacious cabins on Ramah Darom’s campus. Passover guests can select their preferred accommodations. See accommodation descriptions below.

Rates

Rates are based on accommodations and include kosher for Passover meals, snacks, and beverages, and all on-campus activities, lectures, classes, and programs.

An early bird discount of $150 per adult and $50 per youth, teen, and young adult is available until June 15, 2025, for all new and returning guests. Guests registering after June 15, 2025, or added to an existing reservation after this date, will be charged at the standard rates.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE – Reservations can only be guaranteed if payments are received by the following deadlines:

Our system automatically charges the balance to your stored payment method (credit card or e-check). Credit card payments incur a 2.5% fee. To change your stored payment method, contact finance@ramahdarom.org.

  • Deposit with registration: Non-refundable payment of $250 per person
  • November 3, 2025: Non-refundable second payment of $1,000 per adult and $250 per young adult/teen/youth.
  • January 15, 2026: Full remaining balance due for all guests. No refunds are offered after this date. See ‘Cancellation Policy’.

We highly recommend purchasing Trip Protection Insurance, as we are not able to refund after January 15, 2026! Trip insurance must be purchased before final payment is made!

Payments by Credit Card: If paying via credit card, a 2.5% fee will be added to cover the processing fees charged to Ramah Darom by the credit card companies.

Payments by E-Check: There is no fee for e-check payments made on our registration site.

Payments by Check: If you prefer to pay by check, please mail it to Ramah Darom, 6400 Powers Ferry Rd, Suite 215, Atlanta, GA 30339. Be sure to include your family name and “Passover 2026”. Payments must be received by the deadlines above. The initial deposit must be received within 10 days of registration.

STAFF GRATUITIES

Staff gratuities are intended as supplemental compensation for our hard-working staff (waiters, kitchen staff, housekeeping, shuttle drivers, etc.) who work long hours often at hourly rates. Your final Passover invoice will include a line item for staff gratuities in the amount of 2.5% of your reservation total. This is a minimum, but guests are always welcome to leave additional gratuities.

OTHER OPTIONAL CHARGES

Airport transfers, excursions, merchandise, and personal services like massages are extra. Opportunities to pre-register for airport transfers and excursions will be available in early 2026.

Cancellation Policy

We strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance. While we understand that unexpected life events can happen between registration and the retreat, please note that our refund policies are based on the significant upfront costs we incur once your registration is confirmed. As a result, we regret that we cannot provide any refunds after January 15, 2026, for any reason.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be submitted in writing to retreats@ramahdarom.org.

Accommodations

Cabins

Multi Family Cabin

Ramah Darom’s cabins are modern and spacious with hardwood floors, a screened-in porch, and indoor bathroom(s). Each cabin has an open area with dorm-style bunk beds and 1 or 2 private rooms with twin beds.

For all cabins, linens are provided, but beds are not made up.

Shared Cabins

Shared by 4 families, there are 4 private rooms per building and 2 center rooms with 8 bunk beds in each. There are 2 shared bathroom areas with walk-in showers per building – you will share a bathroom with another family in this housing type. Shared cabins are available for families/parties with 4+ adults and 2 children. For shared cabins, you may request to be housed with a specific family, or we will pair you with another reservation.

Semi-Private Cabins

There are 4 semi-private cabins per building (4 families per building). In a semi-private cabin, each family has their own space separated from another family by a pocket door with 1 private room, 1 center room with 4 bunk beds, and a private bathroom. Semi-private cabins are available for families/parties of 3+ individuals.

Hotel Rooms

We have 4 hotel buildings on our 185-acre campus. All hotel rooms have a private bathroom, heating, and air conditioning, a dresser, a table with two chairs, a Keurig-style coffee maker, a mini-fridge, complimentary toiletries, and bed and bath linens.

Standard Hotel Rooms

Hotel

Ramah Darom has two standard hotel buildings on campus, Marcus Lodge and Mountainside Hotel. These hotels are located up a steep hill with stairs, a boardwalk, and walking paths to the main areas of the campus. Each hotel room has two queen beds. Some connecting rooms are available. 

Deluxe Hotel Rooms

Deluxe Hotel

There are two deluxe hotel buildings on Ramah Darom’s campus, the Welcome Center and Lakeside Hotel. Deluxe hotel rooms are extra spacious and have two queen beds or one king bed.

The Welcome Center is a flat walk to the Levine Center (where meals are served) and has two ADA-compliant rooms available. The Lakeside Hotel is up a steep hill from the Levine Center.

Deluxe Private Cottages

Cottage Rooms

There are four deluxe private cottages on Ramah Darom’s campus, and they are our most luxurious accommodations! These beautiful studio-style cottages feature a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig-style coffee maker. Each cottage has a private porch, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a king-sized bed, and a full-sized pull-out couch. Please note that cottages are not ADA accessible as they have stair-only access.

Kosher for Passover Food & Beverage

The Kaplan Mitchell Retreat Center at Ramah Darom features a fully kosher kitchen, supervised by the Atlanta Kashruth Commission and our talented culinary team. Our kosher for Passover menus offer a wide variety of healthy and delicious options—even the pickiest eaters will find something to enjoy. We accommodate a range of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and more. However, we may not be able to support severe food allergies; please reach out to our team to discuss your specific needs.

Driving to Campus

Ramah Darom is two hours from Atlanta, in Clayton, GA. Please download and print these Driving Directions and bring them with you when you travel. GPS shortcuts can lead you to dangerous mountain roads!

Airport/Campus Bus

We offer a bus between Atlanta’s airport and Ramah Darom’s campus on arrival and departure days for $50 per person each way. Bus sign-ups will be available on your family dashboard in the fall.

When booking flights, please ensure that your incoming flight lands at least one hour before the bus’s scheduled pick-up time. Outgoing flights should depart no earlier than two hours after the bus is scheduled to arrive at the airport.

If you are traveling with a child who requires a car or booster seat, you must bring your own. Please note that car seats are not required or recommended on buses, as bus seats are not designed to accommodate them. If you choose to use a car or booster seat, you assume all associated risks. We recommend either strapping your child into the seat or holding them in your lap.
