Year-Round Retreats
Throughout the year, the Kaplan Mitchell Retreat Center at Ramah Darom hosts thousands of people for a variety of Jewish living and learning experiences. These programs offer an incredible opportunity to connect and explore what Judaism means to you. Our inclusive nature invites all to participate and feel at home while having access to new ways of thinking and learning about Judaism and community.
Kaplan Mitchell Retreat Center’s kosher kitchen is under the rabbinic supervision of the Atlanta Kashruth Commission for all facility retreats and rentals.
Our inspiring, community-building, immersive Jewish retreats range from festive holiday gatherings such as our Passover Retreat and Book It To Shabbat with PJ Library to partnership programs like LimmudFest and Southern Schmooze to Winter Break Family Camp, to adult experiences like Jewish Women’s Getaway and B’teavon. Surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest, our 185-acre campus is the perfect mountain playground, with team building and recreational options, sports fields, hiking trails, a waterfall, a variety of accommodations and delicious kosher cuisine.
