The Andrew Silvershein Memorial Fund
Andrew truly loved the time he spent at Camp Ramah Darom. This endowment was established in his memory by his family to enable other campers the same experience during their Gesher year by offering a scholarship towards camp tuition.
Chayalim B’chul: The Gene & Ruthi Sachs Fund for Israeli Soldiers
This fund is used to support Ramah Darom’s partnership program with B’shvil Hamachar to bring Israeli veterans and active-duty soldiers to Ramah Darom for therapeutic intervention due to PTSD and other battle-related challenges.
Exceptional Experience Initiative Fund
Every year, thousands of people come together at Ramah Darom to create joyful Jewish experiences at year-round retreat programs. This endowment, created by Ramah Darom founder Eric Singer, is used to enhance programming at Ramah Darom Retreats by enabling Ramah Darom to seek-out content that might otherwise be unaffordable.
The Fred Levick Campership Endowment Fund
Created in honor of our CEO of 18 years, Fred Levick, this endowment was established to assist with camper scholarships, enabling more children to experience the magic of Camp Ramah Darom.
The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Endowment Fund for Camp Ramah Darom
This endowment provides much-needed support for camper scholarships and maintenance of our Clayton campus.
The Leon Levine Fund
This endowment was established to ensure continued maintenance of the Levine Ramah Center on our Clayton campus.
The Mayer “Bubba” Mitchell General Operating Fund
In the development of Ramah Darom, there was no greater proponent of the importance of creating lasting institutions than Mayer “Bubba” Mitchell. This endowment provides the necessary funds for important maintenance work to preserve and protect Ramah Darom’s campus.
The Michael Klein Memorial Music and Hiddur Mitzvah Endowment
This endowment assists in funding music and art projects at Camp Ramah Darom.
The Weiss Family Scholarship Fund
Created in memory of Leslie, Mitchell, Hannah and Ari Weiss from Belleair, FL. Leslie and Mitchell sent their children to Camp Ramah Darom for ten years, and their children were extraordinary role models. This endowment was established to enable campers to experience the magic of Ramah Darom through camper scholarships.
