Sukkot by the Lake

Looking for a meaningful family Sukkot celebration? Join us for a relaxed, intimate retreat designed for connection—time to be with your family, celebrate in community, and fully enjoy Sukkot. From beautiful sukkahs with lake views to delicious holiday meals and engaging experiences for all ages, we’ll take care of everything.

Rates & Payment Information

Rates are per person, based on accommodation type, and include all activities, food, and beverages. Travel is not included.

Payment Schedule

  • Due at Registration: A $50 non-refundable deposit for each participant will be processed.
  • August 28, 2026: Full payment due. No refunds are offered after this date. See ‘Cancellation Policy’.

Payment can be made via credit card, e-check, or by mailing a check. If paying via credit card, a 2.5% fee will be processed. There is no fee to pay via e-check or mailed check. Please ensure mailed checks reach our Atlanta office by the payment due date indicated.

Cancellation Policy

We strongly encourage purchasing Trip Protection Insurance. This insurance must be purchased before your final payment is made! While we understand that unexpected life events can happen between registration and the retreat, please note that our refund policies are based on the significant upfront costs we incur once your registration is confirmed. As a result, we regret that we cannot provide any refunds after August 28, 2026, for any reason.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to retreats@ramahdarom.org.

Accommodations

Cabins

Bunks Ramah Darom’s cabins are modern and spacious with hardwood floors, a screened-in porch, and indoor bathroom(s).

Linens are provided, but beds are not made up. 

Shared Cabins
There are two shared cabins per building, and each cabin is shared by two families (four families per building). Each cabin has two private rooms, a center room with eight bunk beds, and a shared bathroom. The bathrooms have multiple stalls and walk-in showers. If there are a minimum of three people in your household, you may upgrade to a semi-private cabin for $150/household.

Semi-Private Cabins
There are 16 semi-private cabins on campus, with four semi-private cabins per building (four families per building). In a semi-private cabin, each family has their own space, separated from another family by a pocket door with a private room, a center room with four bunk beds, and a private bathroom.

Hotel Rooms

Hotel Room

There are four hotel buildings on our 185-acre campus. All hotel rooms have a private bathroom, heating and air conditioning, a dresser, a table with two chairs, a personal coffee maker with pods, a mini-fridge, complimentary hotel-style toiletries, and bed and bath linens. Most rooms have two queen beds, and a few have one king bed or two full beds. A limited number of connecting rooms are available, and some hotel rooms are ADA-accessible. If there are a minimum of three people in your party, you may add an additional hotel room for $150.

Deluxe Private Cottages

There are four deluxe private cottages on Ramah Darom’s campus, and they are our most luxurious accommodations! These beautiful studio-style cottages feature a kitchenette, private porch, bathroom with walk-in shower, king-sized bed and full-sized pullout couch. If you would like to upgrade from a hotel to a cottage, you may do so for $300/household. Please note that cottages are not ADA-accessible and have stair-only access.

Ramah Darom is two hours from Atlanta, in Clayton, GA. Please download and print these Driving Directions and bring them with you when you travel. GPS shortcuts can lead you to dangerous mountain roads!

Ramah Darom does not offer transportation from the Atlanta airport to campus for this retreat as there is not typically a large interest or need. If you have difficulty coordinating travel to Ramah Darom’s campus, please contact retreats@ramahdarom.org and we will assist you. Ultimately, we do not want this to hinder your participation in this program.
