4 & 8 Week Sessions

The Ramah Darom camping model is based on a 4-week session, starting with rising 4th graders, giving each camper time to settle into the camp environment, gain independence and resilience, and become a valuable member of our Jewish community. Campers entering 6th-10th grades may choose to join us for a single or double session, with an intersession in between.

We also offer three ways for younger campers to step up to a 4-week session: Ta’am (Taste of Ramah), a 5-night program for rising 2nd graders; Garinim, an 11-night program for rising 3rd graders; Nitzanim K’tzara, an 18-night “short” session for rising 4th graders. Learn more about our 5,11 and 18-night summer programs. Returning rising 11th-grade campers spend the whole summer at Ramah Darom as part of our Gesher Leadership Program.

Stay tuned for more information about Ramah Bamah – a 2-week specialty program for campers interested in musical theater offered in Session Bet.

However long your child is with us, we promise them days and nights filled with adventure and fun rooted in a strong foundation of Jewish learning.
