New for Kayitz (Summer) 2022

In addition to 4 and 8-week Camp sessions, Gesher Leadership Development Institute, a range of Tikvah Support for campers and young adults with disabilities, Ramah Darom now offers three ways for younger campers to step up to a 4-week summer experience.

Ta’am (Taste) of Ramah

5-night program for rising 2nd graders

11-night program for rising 3rd graders

Nitzanim K’tzara (short)

18-night modified session for rising 4th graders

These shorter summer programs allow young campers to dip their toes in and get comfortable with being away from home and gradually build up to a 4-week summer session. And, much like Summer Family Camp, Winter Break Family Camp, and our Book It To Shabbat with PJ Library Shabbaton, they are a great entry point into the Ramah Darom community.

Activities include a full sports program, swimming, arts and crafts, Hebrew, Shabbat and more.

Join us for a Virtual Information Session or Tour.

“When I picked up my daughter who went to Taste of Ramah and she ran to the car crying, I thought she was so excited and moved to see me. I, of course, starting crying too. She made it clear very quickly that she was crying because she didn’t want to leave camp and NOT because she missed me… Oh well…”
