What’s the weather like at Ramah Darom?

We are blessed with beautiful weather year-round at Ramah Darom! August and September are warm and summer-like, while October and November get crisp with beautiful fall foliage. December through February is cold but comparatively mild to other winter-weather states; you can expect frosty morning dew that thaws by midday into sunny skies. In March, the trees begin to bloom and days are in the mid to high 60s. By April and May, the temperature warms up into the 70s and 80s.

What should I pack?

Our campus atmosphere is casual; however, please refer to your event’s attire expectations. No matter the day of the week, comfortable walking shoes are a must! The weather can be unpredictable in the mountains and temperatures can drop quickly in the evenings and early mornings. It is helpful to have layers of clothing and a raincoat with you at all times. Here is a packing list to use as a guide.

Do you have WiFi?

There is full WiFi access in every building on campus. There are times that our breathtaking mountain terrain might pose some connectivity challenges.
