Meet Snait Ben-Herut

Rosh Ivrit

Shalom, I’m Snait Ben-Herut. I joined Camp Ramah Darom in 2012 working with campers and staff, as a Yoga instructor and a Hebrew facilitator, and I’m excited to be returning as Rosh Ivrit (Hebrew) this summer!  

I have worked as a Jewish/Israel Educator in Religious Schools, Day Schools and Universities. I’m an iCenter Fellow and an enthusiastic Jewish song leader. 

I was born and raised in Israel, moved to the U.S. in 2007, and currently live in Sarasota FL. I have a B.A. degree in Educational Counseling from Tel Aviv University, an M.A. degree in Jewish Education from the Hebrew College, Newton, MA and a certificate in Special Education Teacher from the Seminar Hakibutzim (Tel Aviv).
