“LimmudFest is a festival of learning, community, music–and joy!  A wonderful experience.”

“Walking into Limmud for the first time, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Very quickly, though, I felt the warmth of a community that welcomed me just as I was. The mix of learning, prayer, music, and conversations created a space where I could stretch my mind, open my heart, and connect deeply with others.

As a first-timer, I was struck by how much wisdom and diversity of experience was in the room—from teachers and rabbis to fellow learners of all ages and backgrounds. Every session offered something new: insights into Jewish thought, creative ways to engage with Torah, and opportunities to explore how tradition speaks to today’s world.

Beyond the learning, what made the retreat so meaningful were the relationships. Sharing meals, singing together, and simply being present in such a vibrant community gave me a sense of belonging that is hard to put into words. It truly felt like finding a home away from home.

I left Limmud with a heart full of gratitude, new friendships, and inspiration that I’ll carry with me long after the retreat. For a first-timer, it was both grounding and transformative—and I know it won’t be my last.

Thank you for a wonderful long weekend at Camp Ramah, surrounded by amazing people, memories, and learning opportunities I will cherish forever. It truly felt just like camp—my home away from home. Having Josh at my side, with his expertise and confidence, made the experience even more special, and seeing the children running around brought so much joy and meaning. I can’t wait to come back for more!”

“Limmud is my favorite weekend of the year, and I am continually heartened by how special the Limmud spirit of volunteerism and communal learning is, as well as how much this festival has been a pillar of the community with a rich history. This is the only organization of people I’ve ever worked with where groups of volunteers can pull off so much out of pure love and dedication to the concept. I feel very lucky that this is the Limmud I get to call my own.”
