Women-Only Weekend

Relax, Refresh & Rejuvenate Together-ish at Ramah Darom

Nov. 5-8, 2020

Give yourself some space, fresh air and time to breathe as we wind down this chaotic year. Customize your daily schedule and your time as quiet or busy as you choose. A menu of activities will be offered to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

This all-inclusive women-only weekend will include:

  • Outdoor Play including hiking, yoga, boot camps, mountain biking, archery, human-size games, etc.
  • Curated “Date-in-a-Box” options to gather a few friends and enjoy one of our ready-made activities at your leisure created with physical distancing in mind. Boxes are themed to suit your interests.
  • Arts & Expression with both independent and class-style options including tie-dye, kintsugi mug breaking, painting, journaling, craft making and more!
  • Self-Care in so many forms! We’ll have pampering supplies, ways to release stress (Need to let out a good primal scream? We have you covered.), lots of personal space and more.
  • Community & Conversation for a chance to have a spiritual outlet and a good long talk with others. In addition to bringing Shabbat in together with Kabbalat Shabbat, we will offer group conversations throughout the weekend. Topics may include how to let go of 2020, unusual Jewish holiday experiences during a time of distancing, parenting right now and some good news.
  • Delicious Food that you neither cook nor clean up after! We will also have some food activity fun together such as sushi making and cookie decorating.
  • Some Much-Deserved Fun together including competitive bingo, trivia night, a dance-it-out party, teatime and lawn games and bucket list challenges.

While you will be physically distant you will not feel alone!

  • Facilitated Sessions will provide distant group togetherness.
  • Sign-Up Activities will allow for some more intimate group opportunities with limited numbers of participants at a time.
  • Many Options will always be available to you to customize your social and personal time balance.

We’ll be together while safely apart.

  • Meals will be offered in the chadar ochel (dining hall), with safe distance seating and the option to pack-out if you prefer.
  • This experience is limited to 50 individuals.
  • Each guest will stay in a hotel room (cottage upgrades are available). Note: Due to COVID-19 protocols, hotel rooms may not be shared by members of different households.

COVID-19 Prevention Protocols

To ensure the health and safety of our guests, we have developed a series of protocols and procedures under the guidance of our Medical Committee that are in alignment with the CDC guidelines and Georgia Department of Public Health.

For the purpose of these Getaways, a Household is defined as those who live together in the same home outside the Getaway and will be sharing hotel rooms onsite. In order to follow CDC guidelines and ensure a safe environment for everyone in our community, while on campus we will require that you maintain physical distancing with anyone outside your own household.

Please review our COVID-19 Prevention Protocols carefully to learn more about our health and safety policies and protocols for our Family Getaways.

All guests are expected to adhere to the conduct as outlined in our Health & Safety Protocol and will be asked to sign our Health & Safety Protocol Agreement Form during the registration process.
