How many times has your child raved about camp food? We’re proud to boast that at Camp Ramah Darom our “children” rave every summer! That’s because our food really is that good! It’s made from scratch and served with love! Campers tell us the aroma coming from the kitchen each morning puts them into a great mood for the whole day. They gobble up our famous homemade biscuits, fried chicken, brisket, and cobbler. Breakfasts are scrumptious with plenty of options. Throughout the year, we get requests for our challah recipe and the legendary Mississippi mud brownies that we serve on Friday nights. Ramah Darom boasts a state-of-the-art kosher kitchen facility and impressive culinary team under the direction of our executive Chef, Todd Jones. Chef Todd is always coming up with creative menus filled with healthy and hearty dishes, with enough variety to satisfy even our most picky eaters. Food at Ramah Darom is celiac and allergy-sensitive and we have also vegetarian and vegan-friendly options as well. Campers also have access to healthy snacks throughout the day and plenty of opportunities to visit our canteen for treats.

Health and Safety

Caring for children is a sacred and profound responsibility. At Ramah Darom, the health and safety of our entire community is our highest priority. Ramah Darom’s state-of-the-art infirmary is staffed at all times by four nurses and two physicians. At all times, a professional security team is on site along with an officer from the Sheriff’s Department keeping our campers safe so that they can focus on friendship and fun.
